Meet Jason

I have never been the type of student who could read something once and remember it forever. I feel like I am borderline ADD -- Sometimes I can study for hours on end with no problem, while other times I will read an entire page only to find that at the end, I have no idea what I just read. I went to a top tier undergraduate university, took a year off to work, and received my legal education at a highly-ranked law school.

I've always been a pretty good standardized test taker, scoring 1350 on the SATs and 160 on LSATs. My undergrad GPA was around a 3.4 and law school GPA, just over 3.0. I did not get onto a law review (nor did I try to write on one) but I did compete on the moot court board. During the semester, I went out on weekends and sometimes on Thursdays. I did too much cramming for final exams - not quite the night before, but I was definitely behind in most subjects as the finals approached. I paid attention in classes which had interesting professors, and spent most of my time on AIM, FaceBook, or CNN.com in those which did not - knowing that I would be able to put together a great text-book outline to exchange for someone else's class-notes outline toward the end of the semester.

These habits got me by without much trouble, but I felt they had to be broken for the Bar.

Jason hits the books, and the practice questions...
