Authorization

By submitting an information request to BarApp, LLC (herein also referred to as "BarApp" or "BarApp.com"), you authorize BarApp, LLC to provide you with a report of your current driver's record, address history, and other public and/or commercially available background information. You certify that the driver's license number, social security number, and any other information that you provide to us is your own. You understand that if you request the information of any other individual besides yourself, you may be subject to severe penalties under applicable federal and state law. Further, you hereby certify that you are a law student or attorney attempting admission into a state bar association, and that all information obtained from BarApp.com is strictly for the purpose of forwarding to such state board of bar examiners to fulfill the character and fitness portion of your bar application. In addition, you agree that you will not share such information with any other third parties.

BarApp, LLC agrees that it will not sell or disclose the information requested below for any purpose except to access the records you have requested, and except as required by state or federal law.

Information Source and Accuracy

The ultimate source of the information provided on this website is various state agencies and service bureaus. Although every effort is made to insure the accuracy of transmission and data, the reports are provided "as is" and should be treated as an investigative starting point. BarApp, LLC in no way warrants or assumes any liability for the accuracy and/or completeness of any information report provided on this website. BarApp, LLC assumes no responsibility for charges incurred, lost revenue, nor actual, compensatory, incidental, special or consequential damages of any kind in connection with the information supplied through this website. Without limitation of the foregoing, BarApp, LLC is not responsible for actual, compensatory, incidental, special or consequential damages of any kind due to errors in customer input, duplicate requests, errors in transmission, program or equipment failures, communication problems, process delays, or schedule changes. Without limitation of the foregoing disclaimer, in no event shall BarApp, LLC's liability exceed the charges actually billed to you by BarApp, LLC.

Your state bar may utilize information sources superior to those available to BarApp.com when running a character and fitness background check on you. If a BarApp.com background report does not show an event from you past, you should in no way consider intentionally failing to report such event to your state bar - and BarApp, LLC will not be held responsible should you decide to take such action.

Release/Indemnification

By submitting a request to BarApp, LLC, you agree that you will release, indemnify, and hold harmless BarApp, LLC, its affiliated companies and their officers, directors, employees and shareholders from any and all damages as well as any and all fines, penalties or any other liabilities imposed by local, state or federal laws or regulations or claimed by any third party, including attorneys fees, which result from or arise out of your giving BarApp, LLC data or information, or your use of the information reports and services which are provided from this website.

Service Agreement

Ordering a background check from BarApp.com is tantamount to confirming that you have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Furthermore, you agree to abide by all applicable local, state and federal laws with regard to the report(s) and understand that you will not share this information with any third parties or display it a publicly.

In the event that any of these terms and conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions will remain in full force and effect.
